My computer is the style that only has temp, time and date.
The temperature reads about 10-20 deg low. Do I need to replace the temp sensor or can I adjust the temp read out some how? I think it is working properly it just reads way colder that it is.

Are you sure it isn't reading out in Centigrade? You can change from Centigrade to Farenheit. I think it reads Centigrade by default

either C or F...
It still reads way low.
Thanks for the idea though.

I have the same problem. Mine always says -22F though. I made a new thread asking the same thing before I saw this one. So you might want to check it to see if there are any responses, even though there are none as of this post.

This doesn't seem to be the most accurate system around. I have my air temp sensor in direct airflow and it always seems to indicate ~10 degrees too high...

-22f i believe is the default display if the thermo isn't working. you might check the wire continuity, and if it is ok you might need to replace the thermo if you want it to read accurately.

Mine reads way to high....is there anyone who has replaced the temperature sensor to figure out if this is the cause of the problem?

Mine reads -30 Degrees C. So I think I just need to replace it. I dont think that -22 is the default unless it's model dependant.

do you really need to replace it? like is it really that important for the running of the vehical, or is it just and outside temp gauge? i just askin im too lazy to read through the owners manuel.
cause if its outside temp, i will just flip it to day or time. here theres really only three temps, really effen cold, tshirt, and cant get enough off.

Outside (ambient) temperature. I believe they beep at 0:C or 32:F to warn you that water on the road has frozen.
