Has anyone had any experience using this. I know its more aggressive and needs to be applied with care to avoid marring or swirls. Since I already have lots of swirl marks, if I am very careful with the application would it be ok to use this? Has anyone had any negative or positive personal experience with it?

Why would you want to do that?

Because it is a 12-year old finish that has never been clayed.

My understanding is that red clay magic is not for detailing but strictly for shops to remove overspray. I think you're better off buying a $10 bar of regular blue Clay Magic and claying the car twice if necessary. I bet that if you polish it next you won't feel any contaminants.

Thanks, I'll probably do that then.

I have used 3M clay bar with very good results. I would avoid any aggressive stuff on the paint.
