Those of us who took delivery of our new X3's this winter had a chance to open up that large sunroof for the first time, with temps. today in the Northeast pushing 50 degrees. I was surprised how uncomfortable the noise is at speeds around 40 MPH. It sounded like the woofer in my HT system clipping when I turn up the volume too high. Anyone else have a take on this?
I haven't had a car yet that I liked to run at highway speeds with the sunroof open. Too noisy. I don't expect the X3 to be any different.
Around town now, that's a different story.
