If you have the windscreen wipers up (washing the car for example), and then open the bonnet up without putting them back down, you will crack your windscreen!
This is the most stupid thing I've ever come across on a car - any other car I've had would have knocked the wipers down, but not this case. The wipers are pushed into the screen and the centre one will go straight through the glass.
Aweful noise that made!
Needless to say I'll be on the phone in the morning!
