The other day I noticed a broken bolt and washer on my floor... uh oh!
I did some searching and it appears to be a broken "compression spring" assembly for the clutch which looks to be actually be a return spring for the clutch, can anyone confirm? It's part # 22 in the picture. I should rephase this that I *know* what part it is but I am uncertain of its function. Is it designed to add reistance when depressing the clutch or is it a return spring?

The clutch operates fine currently which is good news for me since this is my daily driver. I'll have to find out how much the part costs on Monday/Tuesday.
