My 318ti needs an oxygen sensor it is a 1995. I am trying a new local service mechanic and he seems decent but he wants 60 in labor to put it on my car. How tough is it to put the sensor on. I heard from someone today it is just a quick bolt on. I change my oil on my car and that is about it. I am not really mechanical but a simple bolt on type job would not scare me. I dont imagine torque specs would be real critical or that you would have to do some kind of electrical calibration. I would request some feedback if any knowledgable person is willing in order to save a few bucks. I just bought a mint 1995 525it wagon I love and would rather throw the money into it. Thanks, Kevin in Colorado.
