CIP version 16.2 addresses this issue. I had it installed about ten days ago.

Wih the software that came with the car I always had to turn the stereo on manually. I just had an EPA related recall software update and now the stereo comes on every time I start the car. I'm going to speak with my dealer to see if I can get the stereo back to the way it was.
