Hey, my old car died so ive been looking at bmw's... I found a couple 94/95 540i's and a 93 740iL .
In my old car, I put in a really nice cd player and a couple subs.... on the bmw's i noticed they only have tape, can you have that taken out and have a cd player put in?

Actually, could you hook up 2 12"s to the stock stereo?

It is easy to install an aftermarket stereo in these cars. They are a regular DIN and fit in perfectly. If you are going to install subs your best bet will be to install a new head unit. Johntee540 has an awesome set up in his 94 540i. You can find him over on roadfly. I have heard his setup in his land cruiser and it is really nice.
