Hey guys, selling my ULF due to the fact that it's incompatible with the new firmware on the Motorola V710. It is in 100% working condition, just not with my phone. Check it out here on Ebay. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7971219523)

Shoot me an email through ebay if you want to make a buy it now offer. Thanks

Thanks :thumbup:As far as I know, no BMW ULF is compatible with the V710 - the V710 only works with the combined Assist+Bluetooth and the newer MOST models. So don't sell this if you plan on buying a newer ULF to work with the V710 - you'll need to change the phone. I switched to a RAZR V3 (and Verizon to Cingular).

The 387 and 522 ULF modules both work with the new firmware on the V710

The 387 and 522 ULF modules both work with the new firmware on the V710No, the 387 doesn't, and I doubt the 522 will either. See this post (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1113189&postcount=8).

How is the ULF different depending if it came installed, or I buy it from the dealer, considering the part number is identical?

How is the ULF different depending if it came installed, or I buy it from the dealer, considering the part number is identical? That's not the point. The compatibility that BMW and Verizon are promising is with the Assist+Bluetooth module, which is a factory installed option, not the ULF (which can be installed by the user or a dealer).
