Guys,
I am getting ready to pull the trigger on an '05 Silver Gray with the ZCP package. I found a local dealer that has both ZCP and base M3s in stock. I was originally leaning towards the base M3, but have decided the ZCP packagte makes sense for me.
But - I did notice something strage. I was comparing a 2005 Silver Gray with ZCP to a 2005 Carbon Black with the OEM 19" rims side by side of eachother. For some reason the Silver Gray with the ZCP appeared to have at least 1" greater gap between the tire and the fenderwell lip!! Not a totaly deal killer but I was very curious why. I asked the sales person and she said, well that other M3 has some miles on it - about 300 or so while the ZCP only had 4 miles.
Do these cars sit high until they have a few break in miles? Could there be something wrong with the suspension? While most guys are concentrated on lowering their cars past stock I don't want to have to lower mine to get it to stock height !!
Anyone else have experience seeing different wheel gaps on different Ms? :dunno:
