Going to the Detroit Auto Show!

This was completely unplanned (my girlfriend found out Monday she needs to be Detroit for work this week and next week so she's flying me up for the weekend instead of her flying home!)

I'll be at the Auto Show either Sat or Sun! I'm sure it will be a complete zoo since its opening weekend, but I'm more excited than when I went to the Geneva auto show in '95.

Anybody else going?

I'm pissed that I'm missing it this year, but just can't justify the time/expense of flying back for the show.

Word to the wise--if you go to the show, take your BMW ignition key. BMW typically has an owner's lounge on the second floor of their exhibit, where they serve (complimentary) soda and snacks. It's a nice place to relax and watch the people go by. You need to show a key to get in.
