Anyone have any experience, documentation or pictures related to changing E60 trim? I am getting antracite trim from the factory but will change it to aluminum cube trim ala the Msport package after my return from ED.

Thanks

Note these are note US valid part numbers....

51167897235 dash large
51167897237 dash small
51417899399 hand grip
51417899400 hand grip
51427899401 hand grip
51427899402 hand grip
51457897262 dash lower
51457897263 gear shift area

the cost in euros for these parts and some minor accessories to attach (you can use your existing) is 438.97 including 16.00% VAT...figure $550 USD.

I will be purchasing in Germany this June while on ED.

I could still use your assistance in understanding how to remove the old and fit the new....maybe our trip to Dingolfing will help me see how to do it.

thanks for posting, are you sure they are not valid for US?

as for the install, i have heard it is quite time consuming, I believe BMW has 4 hours billable work time, I have heard of some doing it themselves though.... i will have BMW install when i do it...

thanks, ...are you planning on adding the M-foot kick plate or the M-steering wheel, and gear shift? what tranny are you getting?

..you may also want to search on e60dotnet as some members have posted about doing the interior install manually...it is a bit involved, though
