Oh yeah, and Hamann products have a long history of making LESS power than stock in the real world.

NOT likely.

PTG engne builder says with ful blueprint and MOTEC engien management (gets rid of the mas air flow meter entirely) you are looking at about 380 at the crank. Or a gain of about 47 HP. ANd if anyone lnows how to make power from BMW straight 6s, it is PTG.

Nowack, a German tuner can get 404 DIN HP (about 395 - 399 SAE HP) out of the engine with a complete tear down and rebuild with different rods, pistons, and cams, and RACE GAS (394 DIN HP or about 385 - 389 SAE HP on pump gas)

Yeap, you can bolt on two pieces and get that much power, NOT.
