Hi people:

I just sold my E30 before moving back to Canada and nowI wish I hadnt...there is very few bimmers of any value here....in Nashville where I was they are a dime a dozen so to speak. I live in Montreal now. Someone is selling a nice looking black on tan 123000 miles....no rust etc...I want to know:

1: is this a good production year. I like the 6 cylinder motors...SOHC
2: what should I check for when I go look at it...I will get a garage to inspect the car.
3: does anyone know any good bmw mechanics in montreal
4: genreral info on this make and year and general reviews

The last of the mighty M30 engines..............you can not go wrong if the car is in good order.....a magnificent sports sedan :)

The e34 535i is a most desireable car. Check maintenance records to see how much has already been replaced/repaired from the list.

It should have had the radiator and probably the upper thrust arms done by now. If not, plan on doing these soon. Other than that just normal wear items for a car this age with 120K miles.
