Check the prod date in the door. I'll bet you're in an '05 as '06 has yet to be in production. '06 also has the hopped up 3.0 motor.

Actually, the 2006 530 and 525 started production in March 2005 so he probably does have the upgraded engine.

The warranty does cover maintenance (oil changes, brakes, etc). I got my 2006 325 last saturday. I can't stop finding excuses to go places. oops wrong thread

I have the same problem with my 2005 ED 530i. I just can't stop driving it. Even with the 225hp now that I've had it for 2 days has a nice kick to it. Initially I compared it to my 190hp 5spd maxima and it seemed to have the same pickup, but now it does feel quicker. :thumbup:
