DVD hook up for US 645ci

I spoke with someone who works for BMW and he said that rumor has it that the onboard computer/idrive will run dvd's, that there is only a cable missing that needs to be located and added to the car to play dvds. Does anyone know if this is true and where one might find one of these cables? I love my car, and if it played dvds, i might sell my house and live in it. LOL

Did you find out if it is really possible to play movie DVD's through the Navigation port on your 645ci? I would love to do that do. Amazing! Please advise. My email is Jeff@Levinegroups.com

Not aware of any "missing" cable. probably one of the best resources for info for US Spec video below. I personally have not been interested in this so have not done any more than been aware of this product. E60 owners with this appear to be happy. I've not seen any E63 owners report on this however.
