Hughes HDVR2 DirecTV Tivo receiver upgraded with a 2nd hard drive (120gig) for a total of something like a zillion hours of record time.

OK, maybe not a zillion. I believe its actually 144 hours.

Got the remote, manuals, and if I am lucky I can dig up the box it came in.

Make me an offer I can't refuse via PM. :D

Not trying to hijack, but while looking up Tivo receivers on eBay, I stumbled across this, with 800Gb of storage :yikes:

That's the HD version (HR10-250). This one is not HD.

Mine is more like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=79864&item=5774572065&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

The standard 250GB drive that comes with that model allows for the following:

Store up to 30 hours of high-definition programming or an amazing 200 hours of standard- definition programming.

So, by adding an additional 120GB drive you should be getting ~ 40+ hours of HD programming. Not alot, imo.
