Can anyone tell me how to remove the radio of a 2005 X3. I want to ad the aux. input. I put this on the audio forum and have got 0 reponses. :dunno:

Most of the instructions from the center console trim replacement thing I wrote are the same -- when you remove the trim around the radio, there are 2 screws. Undo them and it slides out. Please post on your install -- I'll be installing an ice>link soon and would like to see how others are routing their wires to the glove box.

I'm also removing the radio to install Sirius. After you have the vent and the top two screws removed do you have to remove the trim piece around the radio - a/c controls to remove the radio?

Ok, I figured it out. You do have to remove the surround around the climate controls.
