Hey, those of you with lowered rides: What kind of floor jacks do you use???
Is there quality and good value out there besides the 400 dollar babies in the catalogs?

Hey, those of you with lowered rides...
That kinda limits the response pool on this board, I would think.

The subject of floor jacks has been discussed to death, including which ones are good for lowered cars..... Do a SEARCH!

Get rhino ramps ($20) from pep boys. Any jack will fit once the car is rolled onto the rhino ramps.

Or scrap pieces of 2x4.

Your car has to fit on the Rhino Ramps, first. The only way mine will is with the front bumper removed. :p

You really just have to get two jacks for a BMW. I recommend getting two of the $80 Craftsman semi-lightweight aluminum jacks.

Read the stickers on the Rhino ramps carefully before buying them. The ones I could find at my local store were not rated for the width of stock SP wheels of my car (225/45, 245/40 both 17s).
