Need help with a/c diagnosis.

Recently tried to turn on my a/c and got nothing. I thought it was the combination switch and I replaced it. The rear defog button works fine. The a/c and recirculate buttons will not light up. I imagine it is something electrical. Even when I push the button the compressor does not start. The blower works fine. I replaced the resistor pack in the fall. Could it be the fuse, and if so what number? If it is not the fuse what else could it be? Any help would be appreciated. Anyone else have this problem?

Pete,

The compressor will not start if there is no refrigerent in the system, the pressure switch is bad, the fuse is blown (they should be labeled), etc. If you are not familiar with the system, have someone stick some gauges on and make sure you don't have a leak - start with the basics.
