Any problems with not being OEM sizes?

If there were any problems, they would be due to confusion of the DSC system, but I don't think it is enough of a size difference.

I'm not clear as to whether you're asking if you can use E46M3 wheels and tires on your E36 318i (the rears won't fit, wheels too low of an offset and tires are too tall/wide), or if you're just checking to see if the tire sizing will fit those wheels (they will, but the front is about an inch shorter than the rear).

I have 18" OEM M3 wheels, will these tires fit? I have an 02 M3 convertible, only show the 318 in my avatar

In that case I agree with Pinecones comments. They'll fit the wheels, just not sure if the diameter difference will be enough to cause an issue with DSC.
