If you got the top bolt and bottom bolt out, move the alternator the other way then take a prybar to the bottom and a rubber mallet and tap it out. Mine did the same thing. Any other q's just ask I am happy to help.
I am trying to replace an alternator on a 1994 318i, I removed the pulley and bolt also the 2 long bolts, but the alternator just pivots on the bottom as if there was still something holding it in, any ideas and or help would be appreciated.
