Yeah I hear ya on the whole insurance thing. It was actually the same exact problem i was having with deciding which bike to get last year. Which is also why i got a 600. A 600 is more than enough but an R1 is just on another level.
I am not a huge fan of the new gixxer colors though. Now the new R6 in white with red looks awesome. My other buddy will be picking one of those up this upcoming weekend. I have convince them all to get bikes
Either way you go, with the gixxer or R6 you will be happy. They are both nice looking bikes.
