In many ways the spiritual successor to the E30 M3. Powered by a M derivitive of the N54 the inline six makes 340hp and giving the 1M a 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds.

The third generation M3 based on the BMW F12/F13 6 Series and shares its 7-speed M-DCT gearbox, BMW S63 V8 engine and other technology with the F10 BMW M5. The F06 M6 Gran Coupe, based on the F06 6 series also shares the same engine, transmission and technology.

The BMW X5 M and X6 M are the first xDrive all-wheel-drive vehicles from M GmbH. The M variants offers the same utility as the regular X5 and X6, with the addition of the V8 M TwinPower Turbo, a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 delivering 560 horsepower and 500 lb·ft of torque.

The BMW X5 M and X6 M are high-performance derivative of the X5 and X6. Introduced at the 2014 LA Auto Show and appearing in dealerships in 2015. Both modeles are powered by BMW's S63tu twin turbo charged V8 making 567 HP and 553 lb-ft of torque, the most power for any BMW xDrive vehicle. 2015 BMW X5 M starts at $99,650 and the 2015 BMW X6 M will start at $103,050.
