I'm so sorry about not getting back to you on the controller issue. My BMW dealers..both! didn't want to touch it. You know the reasons. I have a schematic of the break box and the outputs for the center light. It's to the right of the headlight switch on the back firewall. I'll make a PDF of the 2 pictures and send them to you as soon as I can. I haven't used the info yet, trying to get the deal to attach a pigtail of a 12v output so I can hook it up the the prodigy sensor wire. One way or the other, I'll get you that info, and we'll both have it working, hopefully before X-mas...lol Just kidding!

as a followup to my previous question, I have finally gotten some info re the non modulated brake light signal...it appears to be the signal to the third brake light...but I cannot find the LCM, or LKM where I can pull that signal from. I have removed the glove box at the suggestion of a bmw tech at my local dealer...but I have also heard that the LCM may be located behind the headlight switch on the left...?? I'm at a loss here. may I ask...did you ever solve the issue with your prodigy brake controller? I have a 2004 X3 and had the hitch and wiring done by a dealer, but they would not do the controller. I had the controller wiring done by camping world, but they couldn't find the non modulated brake light wire...did you find it and if so, may I ask where it is. I would be glad to call you, or have you call me here in denver to discuss. I really need to get this working and could really use your help.
