well my transmission wont shift into 3rd gear by itself and my traction control light and abs light are on. once i put the car in 3rd using my selector i have to put it back in drive to take it out of gear for the rest of the gears to shift automatically. Do you have any insight at all what could be wrong?

yeah the first set i had i tryed to seal up but it still got in making it worse because it trapped it in. im thinking that if it happens just garage it and maybe it will dry out in a night?

yeah lets see if i can describe this a little better.

In this picture the scraper object? i have in the gap is how bad it is of a gap.but when you can see the point is where the gap stop and the condensation gets in, but you can see where it stops and that it doesnt get in the housing itself

im on my second set of ebay taillights. the second set probably being the best one so far but i noticed that both sets have gaps between the lence and the assembly. water doesnt seem to get into the actual tail light itself but gets down into that gap and shows condensation around the edge of the tail light(im picky) and that kind of bothers me. but this being the second set having the same gap. is this normal for aftermarket lights? is there a gap in yours? im gonna try to post pictures tonight to help you get a better understanding.

    Hello,
My name is Richard and I am interested in purchasing an 2003 E39 M sport from a private party and I have a question in hopes that you can steer me in the right direction. I had the car inspected by BMW dealer today and they said the power steering hoses are leaking. I'm not sure how bad they actually are(I didn't see any oil on the floor after being parked). My question is what would this cost to replace them and if where might you know of a place I can call to get an estimate or go to. Thanks for you time and I am in the L.A. area.
