I can't find the page you are specificating here E36 section then under the convertible section. From there look under the FAQ's and posted docs.

Go to bimmerforums.com and look under the E36 section then under the convertible section. From there look under the FAQ's and posted docs. You will find the manual there as well as other good info. I don't have an E36 convertible anymore and purged all my docs to that site.
