I inquired further about the sub install yesterday, did you get that message? It is easier to use my toddreg@hotmail.com account, I check it more frequently.

    Thanks

Hello. I am a new member and a relatively new owner of a 2004 X3 3.0L. You gave a member (loci) some advice back in May '09 about using a Z4 faceplate on your X3. I am interested in replacing the factory unit but I'm concerned about the "gap" that will appear on both sides. Where did you get the faceplate?
    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

Sounds great worked in the music industry for years before getting into radio. The best all around 4 " speaker that works well is the Alpine SPS-400. They are moderately priced, have a pretty flat response (don't over-emphsize any of the music spectrum), and fit right in. They typically run $70 a pair.

    Hi Evlengr,

I was wondering if you could help me out. I just bought a 2004 X3. It is sweet, except for the
business CD, which sounds horrible to me (I am a music producer -NY). I'd like to spend $200-$300 upgrading it.
I read some of your posts, and you advise changing all the speakers would be a first step. Which do you suggest?
Any additional guidance you can give would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance,

    Jay
