    Dave, I should mention that I've used Discount Tires for years for my bimmers. Great service and just a short drive from home!

    Sorry, didn't notice I had a message.

    I've debadged cars at the Welt and cars delivered to the USA. I put two layers of blue tape just under the lower edge of the badge. Then use a piece of strong thread at the top and slowly pull it off. We live in Florida so heating is not necessary. Just pull slowly, the more it loses its grip the faster the badge will come off. So be prepared to slow down and stay in control.

    The blue tape is a precaution in case I mess up. I've never needed it. The guys at the Welt just take a plastic card and pop them right off in about a second.

    I've done cars 6 months old and brand new ones. No difference I could see.
