Your CA will receive credit for a sale as well as a minimum commission. Plus, your car should get inspected and detailed if you go through dealer. I don't do F&I so I have no guidance to offer re: CPO estimate. There are many benefits for going through deal I think..

I started the recent thread about a lease buyout offer from BMWFS. I am considering the option to buy the car from BMW FS, but I am seeking input on whether to buy through my local dealer. I know the pricing will be the same, but if there is any compensation/credit to my client advisor, then I would go that route. I have worked with the CA for many years to buy/lease new cars and she has always been great. So, can you advise from your experience whether there would be any compensation/credit to her if I buy the car through the dealership versus directly from BMWFS? Also, what if I have the dealership certify the car? Any ball park on the cost to certify a 2017 540i with about 19,000 miles? Everything is in excellent condition, the car was just in for service a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for any advice you can offer. And thanks for helping to found Bimmerfest. I have used it for many years to educate myself about BMWs.
