Yo jvr,
I'm thinking about buying a 330ci and I'm concerned about what I can do with the audio. I was told to hit you up as the resident audio expert.
Here is my thread.

And here is my setup in the previous car:

I had the speakers mounted in 2-layer MDF rings cut to fit the door. Helix amp was under the passenger seat. Crossovers under the driver seat. New speaker wires routed into the doors through the stock loom. Soundstream amp was mounted in the space under a rear quarter panel next to the back seat. I also have a 30-band EQ (not in the diagram) that was mounted under the trunk floor in a pocket of space adjacent to the spare tire. I didn't hesitate to slice up the interior of my Honda so it was easy to find space.
I know the 330ci has 5-1/4" speakers, and I see from your Audio install v2.5 thread that you can install 6.5" speakers. That takes care of that concern. I wouldn't want to mount anything under the seats of a 330ci though. Maybe crossovers but not an amp. What kind of space is available elsewhere in the car? I could probably live with just using the Helix amp, but ideally I'd have a dedicated sub amp as well. I'm sure you've had to tackle this problem before. Do you have any pics of the available spaces in the trunk? How much of a challenge will it be to install a satisfactory SQ system if I buy this car?
Thanks,
Dan
