Thanks for getting back to me. I actually just installed my new Control Arms with Ball joints and new Bushings last night. Fixed my issue! By the way, if you have not already ordered your bushings I HIGHLY recommend getting the new Lollipops (bushing brackets) with the bushings already installed. Because getting the old bushings out and the new ones in is a PAIN! Anyways, good luck, I am confident this will fix your problem as it did mine
Nline6 I was searching through these forums and found your post, and my car does the EXACT same thing, down to the very last detail. I was also planning on replacing the lower control arms, ball joints, and bushings. But i wanted to see how that went for you (assuming you have done that). It's a lot of money to spend if that doesn't fix the problem. So please message me back or email me email@example.com if ou get a chance.
Um, it doesn't sound completely hard to install the bushings into the brackets but i didn't have time or was I in the mood to be pounding the bushing in. But, I had the bushings that were full rubber in the middle but it was HD. You know what, I would go OEM as well, UNLESS the price difference is tremendous (like $100+) only because i did of course feel the difference with handling but that was only because my old assembly was going to fall apart. So what im saying is i dont think that the difference between the OEm and HD are much different, but maybe they last longer and don't wear out as fast.
sorry, i havent been on the fest in a while. Anyway, i didnt get the tie rods. I just got the Control Arms (with ball joints installed), and the brackets (whit the bushing installed). So it made everything a ton easier. And i got them from OEMbimmerparts.com. You can also get it for $220 without the brackets, or $300 with the brackets. I think you should just get the brackets along with it.
