Hi Bob,
I accidentally poured some oil down the cylinder that the oil housing cover fits into. Did I do some damage to the engine? Since then my car has been rough idling at start-up. Please let me know what you think.

hey bobster. how's the weather

Hey Bob, Update on the blazer... my husband finally decided to check out the motor Saturday. He tried to start it and nothing. He came in the house and said "Locked up tighter than a..." stopped and said the "motor is dead". Maybe you get where he was going with that?!... anyhow off to search crate motors. He read the post on your suggestion on the v8. He said if it were mine, I'd do it in a heartbeat, but that crazy kid (our daughter) does not need more power... But we will check both options. As it turns out there is a Jasper dealer 1 1/2 miles from our house. I've not read up on them, but will certainly start to look for reviews on their motors. My husband ask that I pull info from JEGS also. He use to get their parts book, but after having them laying around a few years I likely threw them away. We have his 1968 camaro in our barn machine shop. His father gave it to him when he turned 16. That is his baby and one of these days wants to restore it. So he sometimes gets these books. Just trying to raise our 2 kids, get them on the road to adulthood, then it is time for us to play... (we can always dream, cant we!!!) Have a great day.. Kindly, Judi
