I am the president of the Nigerian Bank. I would like to purchase your vehicle for $5,000USD over for what you paid. I will send a cashiers check to you via express mail. You will then drop off the car at my freighter service at your nearest port. You will then deposit the check and take the funds for the car and give $2000 to the shipping company. The last $3000 you will make another cashiers check and mail it to an associate of mine. Thank you.
That's what I am figuring, just go and get a used one. Saves a ton of money and to be honest, a bike someone used for 2-3 years is nothing if well taken care of. I've been crawling Craigslist but with a baby on the way the bike purchase plans were once again moved to next year.
How much are you riding on average? I am currently going near 50 miles, 3 times a week. Still haven't broken though 62 miles but plan on doing so for my 3 upcoming rallies in August, September and October.
It's just tough finding time for biking since anything above 40 miles will take you quite a long time and at this point, anything under 40 miles seems hardly a challenge anymore. I am trying to get the bike trainer for the winter months since it seems that I need to start over every year in the spring.
Sailin, I have just the one bike I am mentioning in the thread. It's a Trek Multitrack 750. Bought it used in 2002 and have replaced a few parts. I am at a point now where I am continually toying with the idea of getting a nice used road bike for about a grand or whether to upgrade parts on the Trek. I can only ride one of them and I do like my Trek, aside from it being on the heavy side with a steel frame. It won't make me a better rider and these bikes can get costly real quick, so I keep telling myself it'll be wasted money.
MS. Audio has instructed me that when she passes away her ashes are to be scattered in the fireplace at the Ritz Carlton Club in Naples. We usually spend a week there around Thanksgiving but did not make it last year.
