I'm not sure the current criteria because the SAT test changed. With the old SAT test i think you needed like a 1350? Once you get accepted, your gpa has to be above a 3.5. It's not really that hard, you have to do a footnote 18 (honors project) for any normal lecture class you have, which could be as simple as writing an online help study guide. Then there are the honors courses, you need like 40 something upper division credits. And you have to complete a year of research and write a thesis (~ 30 pages). It may sound harder than it really is. I've been doing research with one of my old professors on the principles of photochemistry and quantum mechanics. Sounds tuffer than it is, i usuaully do all the busy experiment work, he helps me analyze the data. Most of the time the experiments fail and its alot of time consuming work, but doable.

I got my scolarship through barrett, here the website, http://honors.asu.edu/ The program is like any other honors program. It's almost equivalent to getting your degree from an ivy league school. check out the program and look at the scholarships.

I wanted to stay in state and did not feel like living in a dump area like tucson, plus i got a full scholarship. You'll like it, WP Careys a great bussiness school. Were you looking at getting an MBA in bussiness?
I took the opposite route, got in the the barretts program and majoring in biochemistry. Ultimately i want to get my M.D. and do residency in plastics or dermatology. But right for the summer, just taking a class and working with my professor on my research/thesis. If you can, you def. should apply to the barrett program, it will open so many doors for you and it's not hard.
