Hi there Monolith. Mark @EACTuning mentioned that you were a major help when he was rebuilding a 528i tranny and suggested I pm you regarding mine. I hope you don't mind. Mine is a '97 528i w/ a 4L30E auto trans, I've attached links to the 2 threads where we are discussing, but the jist of it is, it stays in first and will not shift up while driving. No warning lights on dash, nothing, everything else works, I have an extra harness I've been using as reference to test from TCM, all sensors, and solenoids give back a resistance of 2500-4000 ohms. All fuses good. I was able to force into failsafe mode by pullin the TCM and it went into third as expected. So I know it's "mechanically capable" at least. Any and all help would be greatly, greatly appreciated. I've been banging my head against the wall for 3 weeks over this thing now. Thanks in advance. P
