Sir: did you get a separate adapter that fits on top of the canister where the pour spout is? I just purchased my mightyvac and the exploded diagram of the machine shows an adapter that you fit into the receptacle and then attach the main tube to it. What I have is a fixed piece sitting on top of the pour spout and when I try to attach the main suction hose to it, it does not work. No suction, nothing. Was wondering if the place I bought it from did not enclose the adapter. thanks..D.
