Hi, sorry I don't sign on the forum much, the cars been sold but as I remember I got the part either directly from the dealers part dept or it was ordered from http://www.bavauto.com/ As I remember it was probably bavauto just give them the part # they sell original parts. The shifter knob has to be pulled straight up, don't twist, if you did you probably broke a piece. It's really hard to pull off but it's straight up, no twisting. Sorry so late in replying.

Hey buddy, I saw you fixed your gear shift panel. Got a few questions, first of all where did you find the plate for 55? I can only find it for 75. Secondly, I managed to take off the wooden knob and the plate just to fiddle with it. However when I put the knob back on it's super loose. The way I took the knob off was I twisted clockwise while hitting the button and just yanked off. Please advise. Thanks!
