I had lots of problems, but as part of the buyback agreement with BMW I agreed not to discuss the issues any further. I suppose I could talk off the record, but I can't be quoted on the record.

I am a reporter trying to talk with people whose BMWs stopped on the highway. I saw your post -- see below -- and was hoping to talk with you. Please reply if so.

New high pressure sensors, new HPFP, all new injectors, cleaned large amount of carbon from intake, oil on intake valves. About a dozen trips to the dealer. Tonight, the engine stalled between shifts while getting off the Mass Turnpike. I lost power steering on the sharp onramp to 128 North and slammed into the granite curb, which stopped me from crossing into oncoming traffic. Smashed and shredded both driver's side wheels, I have no brakes, no traction control, no 'start assist', the wheels make a horrific sound and the steering wheel is way off center.

I am so done with this car.
