I have a 1994 525it. actually it is my son's first car and we are working on some minor problems together. All is going well. I do have need some help with one problem. Next to the brake master cylinder is a hose which goes to a "non return valve" the part is shown on realoem with a nipple but no hose on it. there is vacuum at the nipple. Does any one know where this nipple attaches to? What is it's purpose? Also, there is a crankcase pressure relief fitting which is a "T" fitting. It is near the front of the head. One hose is large and strong and is fine. the other is small and is just hanging down. Does anyone know where this hose is suppose to go? Thank you, Michael

I have a 1994 525it. The brake lights went out. The one above the hatch is fine. First only one was out. The bulbs looked good so I switched bulbs side to side to check. When I switched them beck, they were both out. I have cleaned the contact points but that does not help. I assume the brake switch is good because one out of three works. Are these plastic bulb holders finicky? Has anyone had a similar problem. Any suggestions? Thanks, Michael
