Hi everyone. If this message is a littel strange it might be because im from scandinavia hahaha..First let me start by saying that i love BMW and of cause my E91.
I bought it last summer and i went for the Logic 7 system professionel. At first it was good
420 watt yeah cool right.??? Then slowly i was reaching more and more for the eq . I have 1.5 hours drive to work so plenty of time to fine tune the audio.Ok i have to say that I'm a perfectionist when it comes to audio. Ahh yeah, better drivers in the front+rear+center.!!! That should fix it, got the stage one from Bsw.According to Bsw they got the drivers.!! fare superior to the stock drivers in my bimmer.Got the drivers and the sound deadening for dors , and guess what happened.???? NOTHING.!!!! Now I'm getting desperate.!!! The same screeming peak around 2Khz was the worst,just to say something.So i constructed a real crossover insted of the one microscopic cap on the tweeter.It got a littel better but fare from my goal.Time went on but the sound remain the same.Damn,new speakers again.!!
This time a real component set from Focal,yeah now we're talking.!!!! guess what.? It was a littel better but still.! Took one set out and tryed it on my real stereo.No bull.... ok!!
simply outstanding awesome sound.!!!! conclusion the Logic 7 system pro is a total rip off.
The sound engineer for this system must be mentally retarded or Stone DEAF.Anyway the stock tweeters is quite good "when tested from a real source".It's the pre-equalization coming from the head unit that kills the sound+the amp. Need 2 know more.? Check my post.!! Anyway im almost done with my own stage super.
