I saw your post and wanted to let you know that I just replaced the FSR in my 2003 X5. My 11 year old son helped me and it took about 15 minutes in total. I ended up buying the part on e-bay for $38.25 including shipping at FCP Groton. The part arrived in one day and it worked perfectly!
