Hello My name is Owen I drive a 330i in Auckland New Zealand, same model as yours, but a slightly bigger engine.
Parts for BMWs are so damn expensive here that Ive taken out Mechanical Insurance in case of a major breakdown,tht in itself is a couple of grand.
I used to do most work on my cars myself, its just not possable now.
But I like my car, NZ has a lot of steep terrain, the 330 is great on hills, good smooth acceleration when its needed.
Im trying to figure out why the fan comes on whenever I start the car, It works fine in all other respects maybe its a charecteristic of the model.
