I read your posts about your issuses with 6er SMG. So I got question to you, I drive 545 SMG and last week it`s starts going something wrong with my SMG. Warnning light came and i cant select my gears, but before there was a problem when I depressed accelerator pedal and try to change gear from 3 to 4, SMG tried to put 4 but can`t do that so tried 5 and then tried 2 after all it put N and warning light came up. So, can you write me what thet did exactly change in your SMG? All gearbox or maybe some parts? I suposse taht there is an electronic issue with my SMG, cause my Gt1 and INPA BMW computers, says taht there is a problem with communication via CAN BUS SMG On wednesday I go to reprogramm my car. I will be gratefull if you write me what they change in yours 6er exactly, please write direct to my email sebastianpruski@yahoo.com. Unfortunatly I am run out of warranty, and services in Poland have no idea what is it and they strongly reccomend install new gearbox I belive It is posiible to do something with the old one.
