Beshaw81, sorry for the delay in answering your message. I've never had one before and wasn't looking! I talked to my advisor and the guy from Ed Winters tire rental. The consensus is that since I'm going to Prague, it will probably be OK not to ge the winter tires, since it's a good flat road. I will keep the Ed Winters number just in case though. If you're going through any alpine area, winter tires are highly recommended for that timeframe. What's your itinerary? Hope this helps!
Hi MAS, I was thinking of doing my ED to replace my current 2008 335i e92 with a new one (long story...my car is being bought-back by the dealer for repeated malfunctions). Did you hear anything about NOV as far as weather goes in Germany for ED? I read a disclaimer about possibly requiring different tires if weather conditions are bad. Did your service adviser say anything about that? Congrats on your ED and new car, btw!
