I do not think they are loud at all. My z is 2000 and had the original michelin tires and due to yrs., not miles were showing cracks.
I put on the Coopers because I have used them for years replacing my other vehicles original tires with coopers and they are lasting longer than orginal michelins.(Accord and Tacoma). Again, they do not have many miles on the z yet, so time will tell with wear issue. Price was right!
I just put a set on my 2007 3.0si roadster. I only have 1500 miles on them, but like them a lot. They are so much quieter, smoother, and better handling than the runflat tires that were on the car. Paid $490 out the door about 2 months ago.
My 2007 3.0si came with 2 of these, nearly new, and 2 old bridgestones. I bought 2 more to replace the Bridgestones. So far I love them, but only had the car since early February and haven't driven it on anything else to really compare.
