Does the premium sound package 6 disc changer play mp3 cd's or just regular cd's ? thanks for any responses

I don't think it does play mp3s. :mad:
Anyone know what brand name of CD changer BMW using for the E60.
I know they used to use Alpine for the E39 though.
I want to find out the CD changer that if I could swap the factory one with an after market one which supports the mp3s. :thumbup:

In my '05 545i w/ nav--no MP3 playback, in CD changer or dash CD player. Supposedly there's a s/w update womming in a few months that will allow MP3 in dash player.
