Bimmerfest 2007?
 

Hi i am just wondering if there is going to be a Bimmerfest in 2007 here in Edmonton or Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This year was a no go do to poor organization, please let us know.:dunno:

How about a road trip to Santa Barbara next year. Come on, you know you want to do it. ;)

Cinco de Mayo on State Street would be insane! BUT, ASU has their finals May 3-9....and the majority of the AZ people who goto Bimmerfest also attend ASU. Plus, we're usually in Santa Barbara for B-fest from Thursday or Friday until Sunday

If B-Fest '07 could be moved to a week later (May 12th), that would be awesome! Then we can raise the bar...at the bar :p

How is that turbo holding up ? I remember you said it caght fire on the way out and had it unhooked at the Fest. Oh and BTW I plan on driving the e30 out there and would like to hook up to the AZ caravan when I pass through.

it's going good...everything is finally all hooked up & boosting :) (it's too much fun).
the drive to & from B-Fest '06 I was still breaking in the fresh motor...I actually did an oil change in the Ramada parking lot :D

Yeah, nothing really caught on fire, but i'm sure there were some flames under the hood judging by the burnt heat shielding. I've since rebuilt the exhaust and added a flex pipe to keep the bolts from vibrating out.


Yeah, if B-Fest '07 is during our finals week, we will all probably be leaving AZ Friday afternoon. Otherwise, we normally have 2 groups: Thursday morning or night & Friday morning. It would definately be cool to hookup with caravans or anyone making the drive from further East than AZ.

Yea I remember that and the camber adjust. I may have a group coming from OK, so far it will be 2 e30's.

:rofl: cinco de mayo is a better date for me than last year... i had to rush back home for our kid's 5th birthday party at chuck e. cheese the next day.

Any date in May is a better day for most of us :thumbup: (We got rained on a bit at the Friday evening festivities this last year :eeps: )

Eh I just realized it's on Cinco. I don't know about leaving Arizona for Cinco, I was hammered by noon last year.
