All I can say is: This car as "M X5" or something similar (following the current 4.8is) is going to be a BLAST! I simply love those new gadgets and additional options...SWEEET!:D :bigpimp:

well looks like for about 60,000 you can get a 4.8 with many options.....love it. Can't wait for my current lease on the 05 X5 4.4i to run out in about 18 months.

hey people i'm planning to change front pads on 2001 x5 .Is there any thing i should know or be surprised at before i changethe pads? ive changed pads before but this is a bmw

X5 will not be getting ///M badge as per the latest rumors. But there will be a bi-turbo V8 "is" verison. X6 will have ///M badge.

what's best way to get a good price on a new X5 (besides waiting for supply to pick up) since there is no ED?

Anyone know what % the dealer makes on wholesale price? I need to know because after all the referrals I have made to them, they promise to give me one at there cost.

Did BMW change the price on the Premium Package? Shows up as $4050 on their website but $3950 in the PDF?

there is no ED pricing for x's, or m's... the x's because they are built in the US, the m's because, well, BMW has no need to discount them since people would love to pick them up in europe and race them on the Autobahn....

Almost correct - the X3 is build in Europe and can be ordered under ED. of the X's only the X5 is built in the USA.

But the next generation of X3 and future X6 will be built in US.

will a dealership ever sell me a x5 4.8 for base diplomatic usa port entry or am i wishing for too much

Im not sure, im just going on the of 47k on the pricing sheet. really no point of showing people the price of that much if we the (consumer) can't get it for that much it just makes me sad. lol

You need a diplomatic visa to qualify.

Those sheets are confidential. End customers aren't suppose to see them.
