Fog lamp bulb replacement for 740 IL
 

All I would like to do is replace the fog lamp bulb on my 740 IL without having to take to dealer. How is this accomplished?

Haha...Including yourself. I can do it on a 745 but have never touched a 740. Might want to see if you can find a Chilton or Haynes manual for your car. They are instructionals on how do do pretty much anything short of rebuilding the engine.

You may get more responses by stating the year and body style along with the "740IL" description. In the US a 740IL can be either a e32 or an e38, niether of which would belong in this forum as it is an E65 subforum of the 7 and 8 series forums. So unless you are from another country where they make a 740IL in the E65 body type then you might want to try posting in the main 7 and 8 series forum with your year and bodystyle. Im fairly confident that several users here can change a light bulb, they just need to know what theyre changing it on.
